Heights is now accepting applications to the 6th Ateneo Heights Artists Workshop (AHAW), which will be held from November 21 to 22, 2015. This is an annual program that offers ten budding artists a chance to develop their creative potential through discussions with practicing artists, curators, and professors. AHAW aims to guide and nurture these young talents allowing them and their art to blossom.
Those who wish to apply to AHAW must be current college students of the Ateneo de Manila University. All applications undergo blind deliberations; the profiles of the artists play no part in their consideration.
Applicants are required to send a .zip file with the name ‘SurnameName_AHAW’ containing the following:
- Four to seven of their best recent works with the title of the works as the file name.
- A PDF file containing the applicant’s name, year and course, contact number, email, the dimensions of each piece, media used, and the year each work was finished (if applicable).
- A letter of intent stating why they wish to take part in the workshop saved as a PDF file.
Send all entries to email@example.com with the subject title ‘AHAW6_Application.’ The deadline for applications is on October 2, 2015.
Heights covers board and lodging, food, workshop kits, and provides transportation to and from Ateneo for the selected fellows. The fellows will also have a culminating exhibit within the school year. For any inquiries, contact workshop director Lasmyr Edullantes at firstname.lastname@example.org or send a message to Heights Ateneo’s Facebook page.
