Paano ba magwagi laban dito?

Fear is often interpreted as the anticipation or awareness of danger. We find fear in almost every corner of our lives—in waiting for an important call, in worrying whether or not a friend made it home safe late at night, and in thinking about the future. Fear can be a ghost, a weapon, or a tool for the power-hungry. Fear can also go hand in hand with courage.

For HEIGHTS’ second regular folio, we open the call for contributors to explore the many faces by which fear makes itself known to us. We are looking for works that tackle phobias and vulnerabilities, and challenge language, safety, and horror–works that try to make sense of the unknown. How does fear move and at the same time immobilize? How does one overcome it?
