Heights is now accepting applications to the 7th Ateneo Heights Artists Workshop (AHAW), which will be held from October 29 to 30, 2016. This is an annual program that offers ten budding artists a chance to develop their creative potential through discussions with practicing artists, curators, and professors. AHAW aims to guide and nurture these young talents allowing them and their art to blossom. Those who wish to apply to AHAW must be undergraduate students of the Ateneo de Manila University. All applications undergo blind deliberations; the profiles of the artists play no part in their consideration. Interested applicants must fill out an application form at bit.ly/AHAW7Form and send a .zip file with the name “Surname_AHAW” containing the following:
- Four to seven best recent works with the title of the works as the file name.
- A .pdf file containing the dimensions of each piece, media used, and year completed (if applicable)
- A 1-page letter of intent stating why they wish to take part in the workshop.
Send all entries to email@example.com with the subject title ‘AHAW7_Application.’ The deadline for applications is on September 16, 2016.
Heights covers board and lodging, food, workshop kits, and provides transportation to and from Ateneo for the selected fellows. The fellows will also have a culminating exhibit within the school year.
