Art

The Art Staff is the main deliberating body on all visual art submissions and solicitations for publication. It is the staff’s aim to hone the critical and creative faculties of its members by exposing them to the continuously evolving media and techniques in the local and international art scene. It is in this sense that the staff organizes deliberations, Creative Talks on medium and art movements, Art Appreciation Talks, gallery trips as well as staff workshops. Also, the staff sponsors the annual Ateneo Heights Artists Workshop, a grant that seeks to develop homegrown talent through the mentoring of esteemed artists in the country.

The staff works to promote the artistic practices in the University. The staff values personal growth through collaboration, a principle deeply rooted in the endeavors of Heights. Members of the staff are commissioned to illustrate Heights’ Kuwentong Pambata book. The Art Staff also works with the Design Staff in creating the artistic content for Heights materials.
